The original painting was simply entitled 'Valkria' and displays one of the famous female figures repsonsible for taking the souls of the dead to either Odin's hall (Valhalla) or the Freyja's field (Folkvangr).

The original was painted in 1869 by Peter Nicolai Arbo and is currently part of the collection at the National Museum of Norway.

Depth: Approx. 1.5", with a solid covering on the back and attached hanging hardware.
Canvas Material: This extremely strong and durable synthetic fabric retains its shape and has a satin finish, wrapped around a wooden frame.
