A Note About Our "Viking Gnomes": While the modern garden gnome was not part of Viking Age culture, Scandinavian folklore is filled with supernatural beings, including vættir (spirits or wights) and the later nisse and tomte traditions associated with homes and farmsteads. We call these handmade figures "Viking Gnomes" because that's the name our local artist has used for her creations for many years. They're whimsical, Viking-inspired works of art, not intended as historical reproductions.

Incredible craftsmanship by a talented local artisan and friend of ours! Each of these small "Viking gnomes" is individually handmade with wonderful attention to detail, making every one completely unique.

Standing approximately 6" tall, each gnome has his own name, appearance, and Viking-inspired accessories, which may include an axe, shield, hammer, or other details.
