Odin has two pet wolves named Geri and Freki. While there are a number of wolves mentioned within Norse mythology, the most famous is Fenrir. Along with the goddess Hel, the Midgard Serpent, Jormungandr, Fenrir is the third child of Loki. It is foretold that Fenrir will kill Odin during Ragnarok, and in turn will then be killed by Odin's son Vidar.
