This beautiful Viking Mjölnir is modeled after the historic Thor's Hammer of Mandermark, which was found on the Danish island of Møn in 1874.

The Thor's Hammer was the magical warhammer of the god Thor, with which he fought the enemies of the Norse gods, such as the giants and the Midgard Serpent. The Vikings therefore also called the Thor's Hammer Mjölnir, which means "hammer" or "lightning."
