I really appreciated the details of this book. The author did a great job of pacing and it is an enjoyable read. A lay person like myself doesn’t get lost in the details and questionable vocabulary is always explained without using a condescending tone. I read it in a day. The research is obvious in the bibliography that I plan to refer for future investigation of my Norse roots.
