Scandinavian for "Good Yule!"   Yule was the ancient Norse and Scandinavian winter festival that predated Christmas, celebrating the solstice with feasts, fires, and offerings to the gods. Many of its traditions—like evergreens, feasting, Yule logs and the Yule goat—can still be seen woven into today's Christmas customs.
