This is far better than I expected for the price. For anyone who hasn't played trumpet/trombone before, it may be difficult for you to learn to use this, but keep practicing. It's definitely more difficult to get a good embrochure than on a modern, perfectly circular metal mouthpiece, but once you get a hang of it it can consistently produce a clear, carrying sound more than capable of alerting your kin to the approach of a Mercian or Wessex fleet on your shores, or to rally the forces of Folkvangr and Valhalla when Ragnorak is nigh.

It was an excellent purchase, it came exactly as advertised in the photo. I was really impressed by the craftsman ship of the product. I wish it came with a plug so it could double has a drinking horn. I tried doing it my self and while it initially seemed to work it didn't hold up in the end.

I bought this for fun because it was on sale. It looks great and will make a nice collectors item next to my drinking horn. However blowing it and making any kind of noise has been hilarious. You need a trumpeter’s lips to get it to work. Otherwise it’s just sputtering air. My wife had some success.

I reached out to the customer service team via email to ask more details about the product and they responded promptly and accurately in 24 hours. I placed my order on the 22nd and it arrived in the mail 2 days later. The product (see picture) is as depicted and feels to be of good quality. Unfortunately I bought it as a gift and did not want to put my lips or spit on it for testing out how it sounds, so I'm unable to comment on its sound quality at this time.

What a great horn. I had to watch a YouTube on how to blow it, lol. But when I got it, it was awesome. I need to practice more, but it can be deep, or loud, or high pitch. If you get it, blow it like a trumpet. Google how to do it, you have to practice. But when you get it, great to start any Blót.
