OK - I am a guy and do not wear any jewelry on my ears. Being Norwegian, Swedish and Finish (among other things) I am a last century Viking of the American kind. That being said, I did try and put one on. One MUST have pierced ears and one must loop this of the top of the ear. I found it kind of heavy, and I am not sure how it will wear during normal activity. To that end, I di buy it as a gift, but not sure how someone will have to cope with it without it being lighter or with a clasp of sorts. I will have to check with the recipient to see how it wears. Maybe I will bu one again because I really think it is kind of cool.
