I bought this military style jacket recently from a major retail department store. The crazy thing is, it came without buttons on the epaulets and sleeve cuffs. The manufacturer said it was meant to be that way; I think that’s BS but that another story. I like it a lot so didn’t want to return it even though I feel like this is a quality defect. I determined that having a tailor add button holes and buttons wasn’t worth it. So, I’ve been looking for a cool tie tack or pin to affix where buttons should go. The small Birka Borre Brooch Pin is perfect in every way for the look I’m going for. I only bought 2 pins to see if I liked them (or maybe that’s all they had at the time; I don’t recall.). Now I need 2 more bronze pins for the cuffs but they’re sold out. I’ll be thrilled when more come in so that I can complete my jacket.
