Frigg (also known as Frigga) is the highest amongst the goddesses. She was the wife of Odin and the Queen of the Aesir / Asgard. She is considered the goddess of the sky, fertility, household, motherhood, love and marriage. Some have also interpreted the original artifact as Freya, a Valkyrie or just a representation of a Viking woman of that time.
