Entitled, 'Heimdall returns Brisingamen to Freyja', this scene depicts the story of when Loki stole Freya's necklaces (known as Brisingamen) and Freya asked the god Heimdall (the guardian of the Bifrost rainbow bridge) for his help. After winning his fight with Loki, Heimdall successfully returns the necklace back to Freya.
The original was painted in 1846 by Nils Blommer and is currently owned by the Malmo Art Museum in Sweden.
